Andrea Sandoval was born and raised in Culiacan, Sinaloa Mexico on February the 15th. Third and last daughter of a Pediatrician Surgeon (dad) and a Dentist (mom), Andrea started singing since she was 6 years old at kindergarten. While growing up she always was influenced by old good music, such as blues, jazz, soul, R&B, rock and roll.

Andrea got her taste in music by listening to great talents such as Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Holiday, Whitney Houston, The Beatles, Barry white, Luciano Pavarotti, Rocio Durcal, etc.. Andrea Sandoval started singing her older brother’s original songs in family reunions. Once her teachers in Elementary School found out she could could sing, Andrea began performing in front of small to medium audiences. They used to make her (or invite) perform in every important occasion, which she was glad they did.

Later in High School Andrea Sandoval studied at ITESM where they had a contest where you compete with your own songs. She then began to write her own songs and won locals, then regional’s, and I got to nationals. Then for college Andrea went to study in Monterrey where she was studying Fashion Design and got into the Glee Club and eventually into the shows. The first and best was called Thriller, which was a tribute to MJ where she sang 2 songs solo, and another 5 shared.

Andrea Sandoval began writing her own songs in 2007. She taught herself how to play the guitar, and piano by practicing and watching others.  Andrea is a performer, singer, songwriter, guitar player, recording mixer, arranger and painter. Right now, Andrea working on a project of recording my own songs to send around in the music industry. It’s kinda like an indie project.
