Along with being very selective about the videos that are uploaded to our site, FameTube also requires you to adhere to a few simple rules regarding your submissions and votes. We want to ensure the most enjoyable and consistent experience for our visitors, while at the same time, making certain that our monthly contests are being played fairly.

• All videos must be sent through our submit video page. We do not accept any submissions via Facebook or Twitter accounts. All you have to do is fill out the brief form and include your video’s URL. That’s it!

• Your video can range from singing, dancing, comedic, acting, modeling, entertaining, sports or any unique talent you think deserves fame.

• Your video must be an actual video. We will not upload videos with a still image or audio only.

• Your video cannot contain nudity, discrimination, drug use, or a negative message. Moderate profanity is acceptable.

• You’re only able to have 1 video uploaded per month. Also, your videos must be different from previously accepted submissions that were uploaded to our site. We will not upload the same video more that once.

• You must be at least 13 years of age to submit a video. If you’re younger, have your parent or guardian send on your behalf.

• FameTube reserves the right to deny and/or remove ANY video if deemed necessary. This may occur without any notice.

• You must sign up in order to cast your vote. After signing on FameTube, the quickest way to find a video, is by typing the person’s first and last name (or band name) in the search bar on the home page. This will send you directly to the video you’re looking for.

• The voting system on FameTube is setup to only allow 1 vote per IP address per account per month.  No EXCEPTIONS! The FameTube team regularly monitors votes to ensure manipulation isn’t occurring. Doing this can cause the video to be removed from FameTube without notice. Additional votes, under the same IP address, during the same month, or under the same account will go uncounted.

• Our voting system alerts us immediately when usual activity is suspected. This includes hidden IP addresses, multiple accounts being created back-to-back and multiple accounts being registered under the same IP address. We can see everything!

•  When someone casts a vote, it automatically updates in real-time.  This is especially important if it’s nearing the end of the month, and artists are battling for first place.

• At the end of each month, the rankings and votes will be reset, and the competition starts all over again, giving you another chance to get discovered. However, your video will remain on FameTube forever unless the owner request to have it removed.

• The final vote must be submitted no later than 11:59pm (EST) on the last day of the month.  The voting reopens at 12pm (EST) on the first day of each month.
