Is FameTube really free?  What’s the catch?

Yes, FameTube is completely free and, there’s absolutely no catch! We understand that this day and age, it shouldn’t cost anything for someone to be a star.

Well then, how does FameTube make money?  

We don’t! We’re a non-profit website that doesn’t generate revenue. However, donations are appreciated and gladly accepted. This can be done by referring to the donation button on the home page or clicking here.

How do I know FameTube isn’t some scam?

You don’t know! However, scams are committed because the scammer is trying to make a quick profit. FameTube isn’t making any money, let alone, a quick profit from you or anybody.

Why have I never heard of FameTube?

Because we are BRAND NEW! Launch January 1st, 202, FameTube was just recently born. However, don’t be fooled by his age. After only 6 months of living, FameTube already became the most visit website of its kind in the world!

Will FameTube give out my email address or personal information?

What personal information? The most sensitive thing we’ll ever ask for is your email address. Other than that, you’ll only need to provide us with your first and last name (or band or stage name) so when we upload your video. It will be tagged under your name so people can quickly find you.

Will FameTube make me a star?  

We cannot guarantee that you’ll be a star from having your video on our site. But we can tell you that the chances of you getting discovered increases greatly if your video is on FameTube.

Why should I send my video to FameTube?

Because you have nothing to lose! The more you get your face out there, the more you have a chance of getting discovered. Remember, talent scouts don’t make any money unless they find quality talent. So, they’re constantly looking for great talent.

 Does FameTube work with talent agencies and scouts?

Yes, we do! That’s one of the driving forces that encouraged us to create this site. The team behind FameTube was already connected with these resources. As FameTube continues to expand, our growth is this market will become widespread.

What’s the difference between FameTube and YouTube?

Both are video-sharing website but the difference is, your video has to be accepted in order to be uploaded on FameTube. We are specifically designed to get deserving artists discovered. Nothing more! Nothing less! On the other hand, YouTube is an online video-sharing community that allows anyone to upload all types of videos. The disadvantage to this is, your talent gets lost in not only the millions of videos uploaded regularly there, but also, the video without substance, that go viral.

Why is it so hard to get my video on FameTube?

We are very particular about the content we feature on this site. Less than 8% of the videos we receive, actually get uploaded to FameTube. Unless it’s the last week of the month, if your video wasn’t uploaded within 48 hours, then it’s wasn’t accepted.

How long does it take to upload my video if I’m accepted?

 Your video will be uploaded within 48 hours! You will receive an email right when your video become live on FameTube. The only exception to this is the last week (7 days) of the month, we do not upload any videos due to it nearing the end of the month/contest. Any submissions sent to us during the last week will still be reviewed, and uploaded the following month, if approved.

It has been more than 48 hours, but I don’t see my video?  

Then your video didn’t meet our requirements. Unless, it’s the last week of the month

Can I have more than 1 video on FameTube at a time? 

You are allowed 1 video per month to be uploaded to FameTube. This means you can have up to 12 videos a year. However, each video must be different. We will not upload the same video twice.

Will my video be posted on the home page of FameTube?

Yes, all videos that are accepted, are uploaded to the homepage. They are uploaded in the order that we received them starting at the top of the homepage.

What happens to my video after the month is over?  Does it remain on FameTube?

Yes, your video will stay on FameTube unless you ask us to remove it.

I want to use the same video I submitted again this month?

We do not uploaded the same video twice, so no two videos are alike.

Will I get an email if my video was not accepted?

No! However, you will receive an email immediately after sending your submission that confirms we got your video but we don’t contact you to let you know that your video was denied.

How can I keep my video on the homepage for the month? 

There’s 2 ways to stay on the homepage. the top 10 videos going into the final 7 days of the month will have their video dropped back on the homepage for the duration of the month. And the 2nd way to to follow these steps at anytime during the month, and your video will go back to our homepage for the rest of the month.

Why do I need to create an account to cast a vote?

In an effort to keep an even playing field, you will not be allowed to cast a vote unless you are a member of FameTube. This keeps things fair, so people aren’t trigger voting.  This means 1 vote per month per IP address per account.

How many times can I or someone else, vote for my video?

Each voter is allowed 1 vote per IP address per account per month.  Any additional votes for the same video will go uncounted.  FameTube regularly monitors the voting logs (we can see when and where each vote comes from) to ensure fair play is being conducted.  Any manipulation may result in that video being permanently removed from FameTube. Just spread the word by campaigning yourself and also try these great tips.

Are you guys strict about the votes?

Yes! We take the votes very seriously, and monitor every single day to ensure no manipulation is occurring. If you try any blackhat tricks, the video will be removed immediately for the contest, and our website. This includes hiding your IP address, creating back-to-back accounts from the same computer and creating bogus email accounts. Remember, we can see everything!

What happened to my votes from my video?  

Votes are reset each month so every video on this site gets erased.  They are only calculated during the month they’re in competition.
